Volunteers are welcome, because my time and my skills are limited.
Which help is needed?
In general, any contribution is welcome but most appreciated help currently is
- Help with text phrases in general,
because I’m no native English speaker; my phrases may be hard to understand. - Fill-up the blanks
there are some areas with missing information/content, marked with “tba” (to be added). Just search the site for it. - WordPress god-admin
If you have advanced/top WordPress-skills, you could be #1 for this site!
In the meantime we’ll try to live with some minor design-issues here 🙂 - “Automatic” translation to other languages
I’m still looking for a free way/technology to serve the content of this site in different languages WITHOUT static translating. Idea is to translate content on access with some 3rd-party-webservice. Sure this won’t provide super performance and 100% professional translations. But content will change and for sure nobody wants to re-translate after someone changed content. Ideas welcome! - Complete setup of kNiL’s server from scratch
To add status-views and controls like “ban a player” here at this site, a complete new setup of the game server is needed. Uff!
How to provide your help?
Well, first let me know about your plans. You might then get your own account for this site to edit/add content.
To provide content or quality updates for existing content the best way is to put your work into a file-format like MS Word, as you can just paste any content to it. But don’t waste too much time for layout/formating, because I will your elements to this site and do the formatting/design in place.
